On 27 February, at the ceremony marking the 108th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia at Tallinn University of Technology, awards were presented in several different categories.

In the category “Awards for the green action and green activist of the year 2025”, two recognitions were granted to individuals closely connected with the Centre for Responsible Economy and ESG.

The Head of the Centre, Merle Ojasoo and a member of the Centre’s Committee, Tiia Plamus, contributed to the award-winning green act titled:
“Integration of sustainable development, the green transition and circular economy into both degree and continuing education.”

The second green act recognition was awarded to the team behind “Sustainability Months”, which included ESG Centre’s Committee member Mari Öö Sarv and Centre assistant Piibe Kirke Tops.
